Wellness is not a destination but a journey—one that continues to unfold with every step we take. Writing this eBook is my way of honoring that journey and offering the lessons I've gathered along the way.
This has been a very personal path for me—one that began in pain. In 2023, I was diagnosed with scoliosis and lumbar pain, along with other injuries from physical work-related strain. Later, I experienced episodes of vertigo, which deepened my awareness of how essential balance truly is—not only physically, but mentally and spiritually.
I spent months in physical therapy and chiropractor offices. Those treatments helped me manage the pain, yet I felt a longing for something deeper—an alignment that physical care alone could not provide. Many of the jobs I worked during that season did not align with my soul's purpose. They strained my spirit, leaving me feeling as though I was only surviving.
Within that struggle, a calling emerged to realign my body, mind, and spirit. I came to see that the body is our temple. When we neglect it, we lose alignment. When we honor it, we restore wholeness.
Two years later, I discovered Kemetic yoga. It felt like remembering—reconnecting with a truth I had lost. It showed me that balance is about restoring harmony between strength and surrender. The principles of Ma'at became my anchors when I felt I was drifting.
